Stopover in Singapore

When I left Australia for Singapore, it was my first time in Asia. I didn’t know much about how Singapore would be and what to expect precisely. As I said in the article about Ho-Chi-Minh, I did a 4 day stop in Singapore before heading to Vietnam.

You might know someone who stopped over in Singapore or worked there since it’s known to be a dynamic city; there are countless international companies and small businesses offering challenging roles.

Therefore, to be honest, 4 days was a bit too long and I would advise staying only 2-3 days in this big city if you are a tourist.

This article is about my break in the first Asian country I visited, mostly through pictures.

You will figure out as soon as you head there that there are many different areas in this city (Little India, Chinatown, Orchard Road, Arab street…) which makes this small country more diverse and cosmopolitan.

I did prefer Singapore by night since the air during the day is hot and humid (I was there in March). I would recommend staying in malls or enjoying a coffee between 1 and 4pm unless you like sweating…
